Loretta’s Objects

Losing Loretta is incredibly difficult.  Tears felt hot on my cheek as I listened to her sister…her brothers…speaking…remembering.

I spent a lot of time with the objects that remained.  Loretta’s objects put a smile on my face, just like Loretta’s smile put a smile on my face.  For a few moments, I could feel like she was in the room with me, receiving hugs from all of these people.

I remember you in those hats, Loretta.  I love you.
