Anita Shreve

The first book I read by Anita Shreve did not turn out to be The Pilot’s Wife, although at the time, this was the one that everyone was reading.  I was on a long-haul and happened upon the book, Light on Snow.  It was such a beautifully-written book that I became a fan.  Just two nights ago I finished reading The Weight of Water, for the second time.  What an exceptional story, an historical fiction.  I’ve decided that I am entralled with books that are rooted in history!  I’ve not seen the 2002 movie based on the same story, but am including the trailer here.
