Chinook arch
to the west.
A bald eagle
flies overhead.
I wait in traffic.
Seeming out
of place, I can only
feel gratitude.
Sitting still.
Blinker on.
Red light.
Plodding through
the wet snow,
I notice that the
coyote has also
turned left.
I am blessed that
nature finds me
most times,
at a dead stop,
in the city.
