I’ve traversed this beautiful Country many times now. One of the special places along the way is Old Woman Bay. Many picnics have been shared here with family members, and treasured memories with Mom and Dad as well. After a long section of driving, it is just the most special place to stop…especially when traveling west to east. I plan this stop ahead and make certain that I have good foods in the cooler…a celebration of sorts. I can not describe the sense of freedom one gets…sand between the toes, cold crisp water. Some days it’s very atmospheric, but still beautiful. Other days it’s dazzling blue.
Max is five years old and he has had a swim in this Bay on four different trips already.
In my life, it is a place I remember.
