I met Bronwyn at Gorilla House and was absolutely taken by her warmth and her artistry. Right now, she is studying at Atelier Stockholm, a Swedish Academy of Realist Art and making art, with a classical approach based on true proportion and form.
After her quick visit to Calgary, I sent away for Bronwyn’s Frida Kahlo piece that I had discovered and adored through her Etsy page.
I followed that purchase up with a drive to East End, Saskatchewan to have a cup of tea with Bronwyn and to purchase a couple of her self portrait pieces and a Koi piece that I had admired. It was a fun afternoon for Max and I. Right now, Bronwyn is a long way from home.
