??????????I saw you
in the parking lot.

You got out of the back seat,
and got into the other car,
doing up the
zipper
on your coat.

She left the back seat and
moved up to the front.
She wouldn’t look at me.

You believe that you
are deceiving everyone
and that nobody knows.

But
I know.

The next time,
she remained on the back seat,
crouched down,
the windows thick with breath.

You saw me and
left the back seat to
enter the front and drive
fast
out of your parking spot.

Again, your eyes cast down.
Where had you left her car?

My dog barked wildly.
I felt your shame…
I saw your secret.
