Changing the Landscape: One Bag At a Time

Sigh…I was discouraged, looking at the wild heap of litter that waited for me on the school slope.

Instead, I picked from the last bit of east slope that edges on the main road, leading to 22X.

Ground squirrels have adapted and frequently use our garbage as a sort of lining for the holes that they dig.

All individuals need to take some responsibility.  It is such a sad thing to observe, in a close-up-sort-of-way, the proximity of our negative human behaviour to nature.  We did not meet any witnesses for our photo archive today.
