Changing the Landscape: One Bag At a Time

March 18, 2012 2:00 p.m. Weather 6 degrees.  It feels as though the weather is changing.  The sky is overcast.  Findings: More and more packaging and plastic bags…an entire bag full.  Max had a great run and once our bag was filled, we enjoyed observing the bird population that is becoming more and more evident.

I wish I could capture the lovely sound of the woodpecker that tapped rhythmically on the old tree’s arms while I gathered up the forgotten junk of so many people.

    • The city is picking up all my trash at one designated bin. They know me now as she who paints red. :0) I’ve picked up 18 or more bags of plastics, containers, Tim Hortons cups and construction litter since I began 18 days ago…I’m making progress, One Bag At a Time. Max does have a great smile and I like how his tail wags to this tune! Give Abster a hug from me!
