Elma: All in a Day’s Work

Making things.

Max and I made a trip out to Speargrass to visit with the ladies last evening.  There was a surprise birthday party in store…and finally I had opportunity to meet with the generous and fun-loving neighbours.  This morning, Elma got down to work…got her hair up in curlers and then onto jigsaw puzzles and knitting.  I had opportunity to walk down to visit 89 year old Gordan.  It was wonderful to look at his many artifacts; maps, old photographs, scouting awards and books.  After a bit of outdoor time, Max and I were set to return to the city.  A nice getaway!

  1. I don’t know why you chose that particular beautiful quote from Asimov for this post, but I loved it… and also enjoy very much, reading about Elma, and about your beautiful friendship.
