Sometimes I don’t know what I’d do without my dear friends! I’ve just finished a week that had six weeks packed into it! The cold was oppressive and the demands at work were huge. While I’m sneaking in my own reading…the magical biography written about Margaret Laurence (awesome), my evening hours are spent pouring over English papers. The times that I actually have to paint in the studio are limited…it’s a frustration.
I treasure the time that I have with my hiking ya yas…or my arts and culture ya yas…or connecting with friends on the Ironwood dance floor…these times fill me up again, renew me and cause me to feel grounded.
Tonight I’ll be able to soak in a hot tub with my hiking friends, share stories of the week and dreamy appetizers and drinks. It’s something that I’ve looked forward to this week. I’m grateful!
