I put in a full day of painting in the Chapel today. I have completed all of the time-involved sections and have even applied the gold chord so that I can fray the ends tomorrow. As I prayed through the process today, a scripture came to mind about the armour of God. I will be writing script on the upper right corner of the piece tomorrow…washing over the entire surface with antiquing, clarifying the architectural frame and stenciling the alpha and the omega. This work has been a blessing for me. Spending time in the Chapel over such a long period of time and being surrounded by the people who serve God has been an amazing experience. I am so grateful!
