Scrambled Eggs

Nothing like the wonderful smell of coffee brewing in the morning!  Then, add to that, the sizzling air as chopped onions are sauteed in a drizzle of butter.  Milky beaten eggs are then poured into the pan, where they make a  loud CSHHHH sound and then settle in to be moved about, tossed and turned until a softly browned batch of scrambled eggs appear.  Add to that a sprinkle of salt and pepper…a dab of ketchup.  Place to the side, a slice of grainy toast, slathered in warm butter and homemade citrus marmalade, and ALL seems well with the world!
